Star Wars: The Bad Batch arrives on Disney+ tomorrow, which is fitting since May 4th is better known as "Star Wars Day." Recently, ComicBookMovie.com was on hand for the show's global press conference, and lead star Dee Bradley Baker was there to discuss bringing each member of this popular team to life in the animated series.

As the voice of the show's five leads, it's up to Baker to get us invested in their story, and after voicing Commander Cody, Captain Rex, and the rest of the Clones since The Clone Wars began, there's arguably no one better suited to deliver this unique spin on the ragtag group of imperfect clones.

Talking at the event, the actor opened up on what makes each of the team members unique.

"Well, you've got Hunter who's kind of the leader of the pack," Baker started. "He's got tracking skills and smell and kind of this heightened sense that helps him gauge the terrain. Then you've got Tech who is very technically oriented. [He] always has a handheld device that he's working on [Laughs] and is super cool, super calm, and competent with all things technical."

"Then you got Wrecker who, to no surprise [Laughs] is the muscles of the group. [He's] got incredible strength. Crosshair is the sharpshooter of the group who's kind of a contrary character and quite interesting in the dynamic. And then you've also got Echo, who is a modified clone. An android clone from-from the Clone Wars episodes, who was brought on board with the Batch.

"That's the gang, and together, they are a force to be reckoned with [Laughs]," he concluded.

As we learned in The Clone Wars, each of these heroes brings something different to the table, but it's obviously going to be interesting to see how that's further explored in their own series. Baker is no stranger to lending his voice to a Galaxy Far, Far Away and arguably knows these clones better than anyone. However, it feels like he's only just started to scratch the surface with this group!

Star Wars: The Bad Batch is streaming exclusively on Disney+ starting May 4th. Check out some newly released character posters featuring each member of the team below:
