THE MANDALORIAN: Sasha Banks On Her STAR WARS Debut & Potential Return As Koska Reeves

Though there was a lot of speculation that she'd been cast as Sabine Wren, Sasha Banks made her debut during last week's episode of The Mandalorian as a character named Koska Reeves, and to say the current SmackDown Women's Champion was excited about getting to be a part of the galaxy far, far away would be an understatement.

Banks - who was credited under real name Mercedes Varnado - was introduced as one of Bo-Katan's (Katee Sackhoff) Mando warriors, and while she didn't get a lot of dialogue, Reeves did see quite a bit of action.

"I watched it, but still have not really gotten to take in the whole episode because I was screaming and crying the whole time," Vernado told USA Today when asked about that old-school corridor shootout. "It was just absolutely incredible. I mean, to kill a Stormtrooper? Hello? Wow, wow, wow."

Fans will be hoping to see The Boss back in the Bescar armor at some point, and while a return as Reeves seems likely, Varnado stopped just short of confirming that she will reprise the role when asked if we'd be seeing her sooner rather than later.

"The beautiful thing with Disney is they love to have their magic. So you have to keep on watching and see what magic we're going to create."

What did you guys make of Varnado as Koska Reeves? Do you think she'll return as the character before the end of season 2? Drop us a comment down below.

Between her and that one dude from last week also happy to be in the show, the future of Star Wars definitely seems brighter on the TV side of things

@MrCamw1 - Honestly, I just love it when people are excited about Star Wars. It's such a fun franchise when you're not up your own ass about it (that goes for creatives and fans alike and I'm not excluding myself either).

@MrCamw1 - So many people join these big franchises and they don’t really seem to care about it, like MCU and DCEU, so just hearing people so excited to join the franchise they’re in is cool

So I guess these guest stars aren't returning this season?? Boba, Bo Katan, ect.

Hopefully Ahsoka and Rex stick around for the remainder though

"I mean, to kill a Stormtrooper? Hello? Wow, wow, wow."

Even Stormtroopers have feelings.

I want to see a Mandalorian based on this Boba Fett concept art. If the Mandalorians are a doctrine and not a race, under some helmet there must be an alien.
