Though there was a lot of speculation that she'd been cast as Sabine Wren, Sasha Banks made her debut during last week's episode of The Mandalorian as a character named Koska Reeves, and to say the current SmackDown Women's Champion was excited about getting to be a part of the galaxy far, far away would be an understatement.
Banks - who was credited under real name Mercedes Varnado - was introduced as one of Bo-Katan's (Katee Sackhoff) Mando warriors, and while she didn't get a lot of dialogue, Reeves did see quite a bit of action.
"I watched it, but still have not really gotten to take in the whole episode because I was screaming and crying the whole time," Vernado told USA Today when asked about that old-school corridor shootout. "It was just absolutely incredible. I mean, to kill a Stormtrooper? Hello? Wow, wow, wow."
Fans will be hoping to see The Boss back in the Bescar armor at some point, and while a return as Reeves seems likely, Varnado stopped just short of confirming that she will reprise the role when asked if we'd be seeing her sooner rather than later.
"The beautiful thing with Disney is they love to have their magic. So you have to keep on watching and see what magic we're going to create."
What did you guys make of Varnado as Koska Reeves? Do you think she'll return as the character before the end of season 2? Drop us a comment down below.
