Amy Pascal Clarifies Her Previous VENOM And BLACK CAT Statement

The whole discussion about Venom and Black Cat joining the MCU was all for naught as Amy Pascal has clarified that her comments on the Spider-Man affiliated characters were misinterpreted.

You just knew it wouldn't take long for either Marvel or Sony to set the record straight about whether Venom, Black Cat and the Silver Sable films in development at Sony would actually be in the MCU.  Fandango Managing Editor Erik Davis just spoke to Pascal an hour ago who told the site that she's been itching to clear the air as soon as she saw what an uproar her comments had created.  



As Kevin Feige has stated all along, those other Spider-Man spinoff films will not be taking place in the MCU. Now as for the other rumor, which states that the wall-crawler appearing in those films will be Miles Morales...we'll just have to wait and see how that shakes out.
