One sequence we've seen a lot of in the trailers for Venom is the motorbike chase featuring Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock coming to terms with his newfound Symbiote. Described by IGN as the film's biggest action sequence, a new featurette has now been released revealing how that was created.

"This is the first time that Eddie finds out he has Venom in him," Spiro Razatos, Venom’s second unit director explains. "Obviously, he’s freaking out. He’s got drones that are blowing up all around him, he’s got SUVs that are trying to kill him, and he’s got Venom inside of him. So he’s trying to deal with this while he’s going at eighty miles an hour on a motorcycle through the traffic of San Francisco."

There are a lot of revelations in the video below, so you should definitely give it a watch. If nothing else, the signs are definitely pointing to Venom delivering in terms of action and this motorbike chase - which looked rather bland in that Venom-less teaser trailer - may very well be a highlight in the film.

Can't wait to see it in it's entirety, specially the ending as he morphs into Venom for the first time.

The biggest stunt this film will have pull off is making 💰 with the support of the GA and the ire of certain secs of CBMworld.

I’m hoping for 64-68 RT Score and with low end budget a financial success

@IronGenesis - A bad film made on the cheap that cashes in on the popularity of an IP isn't a stunt, it's a CBM made in the mid 2000s

@OmegaDaGrodd - Eh. So far the footage doesn’t look much different than the usual comic book movie fare I’ve seen already this season.

What is most important though is that this film is able to make enough money that Sony feels confident to greenlight all the non-Spiderman spin off films that the genre so desperately needs

@IronGenesis - There is absolutely no genre in existence that "desperately needs" movies you have to hope get a 64% on Rotten Tomatoes

@OmegaDaGrodd - movies will far less have made the bank enough to usher in multiple sequels

@IronGenesis - Yes, and no genres need *multiple* movies you need to hope get a 64% on Rotten Tomatoes

Bad movies don't help a genre, they kill it. Being a shill for a movie that literally hacked pieces of itself off so it could get a rating that would help it fit in the MCU is an interesting form of punk rock contrarianism

@BlindWedjat - I assume they did. Doesn't seem like too difficult of a stunt.

The biggest stunt sequence was, unquestionably, getting the movie greenlit in the first place.
