VENOM Co-Creator Todd McFarlane Redesigns The Big Screen Version Of The Iconic Villain

The new trailer for Venom generated a lot of discussion among comic book fans but most agreed that the symbiote looked pretty cool. Now, artist Todd McFarlane has made some tweaks which you can see here!

The second Venom trailer won a lot of people over (despite cringeworthy lines about turds in the wind), with many fans praising the design of the symbiote. Now, the character's co-creator and the man responsible for coming up with the symbiote's appearance all those years ago has weighed in and decided to make some changes. Does Todd McFarlane improve the anti-hero's look for the better? 

Well, McFarlane - who admits to liking the design - doesn't actually do much, giving the eyes a more angular shape and making Venom's mouth a tad smaller and altering the teeth so he looks a little more like his comic book counterpart. These edits make a surprisingly big difference, though, and an argument could definitely be made that the artist comes up with a slightly better looking Venom!
