Possible love interest: As every bat-fan knows, Bruce Wayne is a lover as well as a fighter. In Batman: Arkham City two of the antihero's old flames will make an appearance raising hopes of some romance. The sultry Talia Al Ghul has been confirmed, but it's the presence of bad girl Catwoman that will really keep us interested.
Co-op: Yes there-s co-op some players may be worried that the sense of being one man against a seething mass of villainy will be spoiled by the presence of a partner, much as it was in resident evil 5. That said it depends on how they use co-op in the game if they do a stand alone co-op mode that plays outside the main story like the previous games challenge mode it could work.
World's greatest detective: During Arkham Asylum we saw Batman solving more crimes with his fists than thinking. To redress that, Rocksteady has promised to make more use of the detective mode in this game allowing us to truely become the worlds greatest detective.
My enemy's enemy: We all know that Joker and two-face will be in the game but what way will they play of each other that intrigues us. For instance, it's been hinted that Joker and two-face are vying for control of the slums that make up Arkham, resulting in chaotic infighting that batman can use to his advantage. other confirmed villains are the Joker's closest ally, Harley Quin; date-obsessed Calendar man; mad scientist, Hugo Strange and returning psycho-killer Mr Zsasz.
Last laugh?: For most of us Mark Hamill's performance as the joker in the previous game was fantastic. He reprises his role here and brings with it questions about the iconic characters future. In the trailer we see our favorite maniacal mastermind appears very ill, throw in Hamill's admission this is his last time as the joker and we are left to wonder about the Jokers future.
Crazed city: The overspill of goons from the first game along side others and the private security force hired by Sharp will make for a slew of villains that have complete free reign within the walls of Arkham City.
Shadow in the sky: This time round we will see Batman live up to his name as he takes to the sky with his new ability enabled by a glide and grapple combo. Rocksteady are hoping this will heighten the sense of being Batman, as well as allow players to traverse the game map quicker. Which will roughly be five times bigger than Arkham Asylum.
Interrogation: Voice over actor Wally Wingert has confirmed that the Riddler will return for the sequel. It's not yet clear whether he will make an actual appearance, but we do know that his puzzles will return. however, this time Batman will need to locate some of the villain's goons and interrogate them for info on where to find the next puzzle.
Getting around: As already mentioned the map will be much larger than the previous game so the flying ability isn't the only new skill Batman has he will also be able to dive through windows and climb various surfaces.
Fighting skills: The fighting system from the previous game has been beefed up for this game among the new offensive skills are the ability to counter two enemies at once and a chance to mix in more gadgets as you fight, such as spraying explosive gel on an enemies back as you vault over him. Defense wise Batman can now use the environment to his advantage during fights, taunt baddies to scare them off and there's even a new catch and return maneuver to tackle projectiles.
I personally am looking forward to this game what do the rest of you think leave your thoughts in the usual place.
