Meh, could really care less of this film. Although I think it can be a better videogame adaption than most others.

Black Ops had one of the worst campaigns in a long time. Halo has a far better and longer story. It deserves a proper movie adaptation and this crap. Get Peter Jackson back!

Does Black Ops even have a campaign mode? Lol dumbest shit I've heard all year, Halo owns CoD's so called "storyline"

Yankeemanf: Don't instigate those who worship Halo. I believe Black Ops was pretty legit.

Black Ops' story is one that has been done by many other movies/books in the past, it is far from an original story. They just threw something together so they'd be able to say they had a campaign mode.

HarrisonBergeron: No one said it was original lol

It can't be a good story if it is not original. It can be a good game/book/movie, but the original is what would get the credit for a good story, not the derivative.

@HarrisonBergeron - Like inglorious basterds, or shawshank redemption or forest gump to name a few?

NOTHING is orginal now a days everything is an adaptation, or an inspired story or something now a days. In fact mate, you are on a site ABOUT movie adaptations.

And I think the reason these don't look so good is because its not the final images, to say you can see a camera track on one of them, it will look better with editing.

Wheres master chief mo [frick]er?

So, if I make a movie about a guy named Phroto who needs to destroy a ring to save his magical world I'll get credit for a great story? I'm going to get right on that.

Good luck to them. Though I hoped for a big budget movie, that's okay. Something is better than nothing and ya' never know what may come from this.

Black Ops probably had the worst campaign I've ever played. The gameplay is so dull and repetitive I don't even know how people can defend it. I also thought it was funny how the game is called Black Ops but not a single Black Ops mission ever occurrs. Plus the story is an absolute ripoff of the book The Traitor. The multiplayer is also shallow and takes no skill, you might as well just call if hide and seek with guns.

But yeah this looks like it's gonna suck. Machinima should just abandon this and let Peter Jackson take care of it, and he should start the movie series from The Fall of Reach instead of the first game.
