LEGO STAR WARS: THE SKYWALKER SAGA Covers All Nine Main Episodes In One Game; Releases In 2020

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will allow you to relive the epic Skywalker story arc with all nine movies playable in LEGO form, including for the first time The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker.

Back in April, General Grievous voice actor Matthew Wood accidentally let slip the news that Traveller's Tales was working on a new LEGO Star Wars game, though we didn't know at the time what it would be. At E3 this weekend, that game was officially revealed to be LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.

Set to arrive in 2020, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will cover the events of all nine movies that comprise the Skywalker story arc:The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and The Rise of Skywalker.

While TT Games has released previous LEGO games for each of the Star Wars films besides The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker (since it hasn't hit theaters yet), this new game doesn't appear to be a mere collection of the older titles; rather, it looks like a completely new game that will recount the highlights of the movies with TT and LEGO's signature humor injected into the storytelling.

The galaxy is yours with LEGO® Star Wars™: The Skywalker Saga! Play through all nine Star Wars™ saga films in a brand-new LEGO video game unlike any other. Experience fun-filled adventures, whimsical humour, and the freedom to fully immerse yourself in the LEGO Star Wars universe like never before.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is set for release in 2020, which makes sense considering Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker — which concludes the saga — hits theaters on December 20, 2019. The game will release for Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

Well I guess the 7-9 levels could be fun to play through, last time i checked the lego star wars games were silent cut scenes anyway. Dont know if thats change, havent played them since the complete saga game for ps3

Well it was only a matter of time. Especially considering like "Star Wars: Battlefront", the original games haven't aged well. I wonder how different the gameplay will be and will they use movie lines this time? Also question is, will "Rogue One" and "Solo" be part of the game?

I really wanted to see Lego Star Wars 1 and 2 with the updated minifigures. Glad to see it's actually coming.
