Assassin's Creed hits theaters this week, and before we dive into that video game flick, lets take a look back at one video game adaptation that really didn't go so well.

Max Payne is one of the most iconic video games of the last twenty years. Its rich story, immersive gameplay and unique characters elevated it to a legendary status and propelled a very solid trilogy. So to the gaming community, Max Payne is viewed as a hero.

But to the movie community, The 2008 adaptation directed by John Moore (Behind Enemy Lines, A Good Day to Die Hard), is seen as a sick joke. Though it is much better made than most video game adaptations, it should still serve as a shining example of how to not adapt a video game to the big screen. Full Review Below:
