Here are the six easy steps to making an awesome over the top Superman video game.

6. Get a good developer, someone that knows how to respect a franchise or understands the ways of a superhero. My picks are Rocksteady (Arkham Asylum), Sucker Punch (inFAMOUS), and Beenox (Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions).

5. Get the voice cast from Superman Doomsday. Adam Baldwin as Superman, James Marsters as Lex Luther, Anne Heche as Lois Lane, etc.

4.Decent villians that Superman CAN fight. Brainiac, Bizzaro, Doomsday, Metallo, and Lex Luthor (in his robotic suit). Maybe have Doomsday as a final boss.

3. An understanding of Superman's powers. Superman has many powers that most be easy to access by the player. Super strength, flight, x-ray vision, super speed, heat vision, super breath, super hearing, super vision, super smell, super sound, and eidetic memory. The access of these powers for the player is very important for the success of the game.

2. A great setting. Metropolis, Krypton, and any other place Superman's adventures may take him, must be phenomenal. I really love the way Sucker Punch designed the city of Empire City for inFAMOUS, and believe that kind of design could work for this game. It's crucial that the games setting have major landmarks from the movies, comics, etc.

1. Crossovers. By that I mean some appearances from other DC Universe icons such as Batman, Green Lantern, and The Flash. Having these kind of crossovers (especially Batman) will make players even more intrigued to play. The more characters the better.

Well that's all I've got. Do you have anything you'd like to see in an upcoming Superman game.
