Cyberpunk 2077
First teased all the way back in 2013, a second CGI trailer for CD Projekt Red's action-RPG Cyberpunk 2077 debuted during Microsoft's conference, and this looks like it's going to be an absolute blast.
A futuristic version of The Witcher? Yes please.
Planet Alpha
Planet Alpha is an intriguing-looking side-scrolling platformer that comes to us from the developers of the Hitman and Kane & Lynch series for IO Interactive.
In the game, the player gets to explore "a beautiful alien world filled with mystery and danger. Pursued by relentless enemies, you must harness the power of night and day as you struggle to survive."
Planet Alpha is set to release this fall on PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Battletoads
Yes, there really is new Battletoads game on the way.
Old-school Nintendo fans will no doubt remember the original series of beat 'em ups from the early '90s, and now Rash, Zitz, and Pimple are set to return for a new adventure on Xbox in 2019.
Unfortunately, the announcement teaser doesn't contain any actual footage, but it does give us some idea of what to expect, including body morphing mash-ups, 3 player couch co-op, and 4K hand-drawn 2.5D graphics.
Devil May Cry 5
The rumors were true! Capcom debuted an action-packed trailer for Devil May Cry 5 during Microsoft's conference.
Apparently, this latest installment in the slasher franchise will completely ignore Ninja Theory's reboot and is being hailed as a "true sequel" to Devil May Cry 4. The trailer certainly contains all of the elements that have proven so popular with fans up until now.
Devil May Cry 5 is set to release on Xbox sometime in spring 2019.
Shadow Of The Tomb Raider
A new story trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider was shown during Microsoft's briefing, and it gives us a much better idea of what to expect from Lara Croft's latest outing.
It looks like the stakes are higher than they've ever been for our intrepid adventurer, as Lara will be setting out to cancel the apocalypse.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be released on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on September 14.
Ori And The Will Of The Wisps
By far the most visually stunning trailer to screen at E3 so far is this new teaser for Ori and the Will of The Wisps.
This Metroidvania-style platform adventure is a sequel to 2015's Ori and the Blind Forest, and follows the perilous journey of a guardian spirit named Ori and his guide, Sein.
The game doesn't release until next year, but it looks well worth the wait.
Fallout 76
Microsoft also debuted a new trailer for Bethesda's Fallout 76, which will serve as a prequel to all of the previous games in the series.
Fallout 76 will also feature the most expansive gameplay yet (it'll be four times bigger than Fallout 4, apparently), with Bethesda director Todd Howard describing the world as "an untamed Wastleand for players to explore" as he introduces the teaser.
Fallout 76 will be available to pre-order on June 15th.
Gears 5
Finally, we have the cinematic trailer for Gears 5, which was officially announced for Xbox One during the Microsoft presentation.
It appears the developers have decided to drop "of War" for the series' fifth main entry, which gives us the chance to play as Kait Diaz, one of the key characters from Gears of War 4.
Gears 5 is set for release in 2019, and the game will be available via Xbox Game Pass at launch.
There were other trailers released over the past couple of days, so be sure to head on over to Game Fragger to check them out.
