After being moved up to April 13th to avoid competition with Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War, Warner Bros. has now secured a day-and-date release in China, meaning it will open in the Middle Kingdom on the same day it opens in the rest of the world, which is certainly good news with Infinity War waiting just around the corner.

Brad Peyton helmed the monster feature with a cast headlined by Dwayne Johnson. The supporting players for The Rock's latest action extravaganze include Naomie Harris, Malin Åkerman, Joe Manganiello, Jake Lacy, Marley Shelton, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

Check out Johnson's announcement, which features a new mini-trailer, below

Check out the new Chinese poster below:

Primatologist Davis Okoye (Johnson), a man who keeps people at a distance, shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent, silverback gorilla who has been in his care since birth. But a rogue genetic experiment gone awry mutates this gentle ape into a raging creature of enormous size. To make matters worse, it’s soon discovered there are other similarly altered animals. As these newly created alpha predators tear across North America, destroying everything in their path, Okoye teams with a discredited genetic engineer to secure an antidote, fighting his way through an ever-changing battlefield, not only to halt a global catastrophe but to save the fearsome creature that was once his friend.

Rampage features:

Dwayne Johnson as Davis Okoye
Naomie Harris as Dr. Kate Caldwell
Malin Åkerman as Claire Wyden
Joe Manganiello as Burke
Jake Lacy in an undisclosed role
Marley Shelton in an undisclosed role
Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Agent Russell

I LOVE monsters movies, but this ain't that appealing to me. Yes you can have a freaking flying wolf soaring among buildings and what not, but the rock and most of his lately movies simply bore me out, i rather watch Pacific Rim i love the first one and the second looks fun and so freaking Mecha AF.

And no Dwayne, your horned cocodrile ain't shit to Goji lol *tries not go all Goji fanboy enragement* ...i'm fine.

The wolf looks [frick]ing insane! I couldn't imagine trying to evade something like that if it were real.

Apparently Tomb Raider and Rampage are decent. Hopefully they can make some money.
