While at a new years eve party, the actor got a call from Bekmambetov..

"I got a call from Timur just as the bell struck 12," McAvoy said in a group interview on Friday in Beverly Hills, where he was promoting The Last Station. "He said, 'I will call you in two weeks and maybe have something to tell you then.'"

"[Bekmambetov] basically said, 'Happy new year,'" McAvoy said. "I was like, 'Are you calling me about the film or for New Year?' So I don't know what's happening."

Bekmambetov has already stated that if he were to make a sequel he would bring back Angelina Jolie's character, Fox, despite her having half her head blown off at the end of the first film. Wanted had its moments but I didn't like it at all. And it wasn't even because of the drastic changes it made to Mark Millar's comics, it just wasn't a very good movie. I couldn't care less about a sequel. How bout you guys?
