Leading lady Gal Gadot has returned to the set of Wonder Woman, but she's alone as The Office star Lucy Davis has been spotted for the first time as the Amazon Princess' best friend.

It appears Marvel’s Doctor Strange was not the only comic book movie filming on-location in London this morning. Thanks to the Metro.co.uk, we have some great new images from the set of Wonder Woman, and they feature Gal Gadot as Diana Prince as well as English actress Lucy Davis, who plays the Amazon Princess' best friend Etta Candy. The two ladies were surrounded by extras for a scene involving the celebration an armistice in WWI













Directed by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince, Chris Pine as Captain Steve Trevor, and Lucy Davis as Etta Candy, with Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bemner, Saïd Taghmaoui, and Elena Anaya. The Amazon Princess will make her big screen debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice on March 25, 2016, but her first solo feature is currently filming, and is set to open in theaters on June 23, 2017.

So, wait, both Steve Trevor and Etta Candy are with Wondy in the WWI period?

Could this not have been Sugar Candy, Etta's mother? I mean, an older war-horse version of Steve Trevor could work for the WWII period, but an older Etta, too? Just wouldn't work. She certainly wouldn't be able to be one of the Holliday Girls. I mean, maybe she could be one of the teachers at Holliday College.

Or maybe they could just do a WWII without any of these characters. With a new supporting cast.

Who knows, right?

Anticipation is killing me.

Hope the Pan writer doesn't return for the sequel.
