Awesome New WONDER WOMAN 1984 Banner Puts Gal Gadot's Amazon Warrior Front And Center

Wonder Woman 1984 was supposed to be released this year, and while director Patty Jenkins has since expressed regret over the fact she asked Warner Bros. to push it into 2020, there's definitely a lot of excitement surrounding the DC Comics adaptation. Now, a new banner has been released which puts Gal Gadot's Amazon Warrior front and center.

As you can see, the font used for the logo definitely references the fact that the sequel is set in 1984, while Wonder Woman herself looks like she's just stepped out of the pages of the comic books.

The character hasn't been seen on the big screen since 2017's Justice League. There were rumblings that she would appear in both Aquaman and Shazam!, but that obviously didn't happen so her return in this movie is long overdue. We're not entirely sure where this banner was spotted, but it's most likely Licensing Expo artwork. Common sense says that a teaser trailer will be released at Comic-Con.

What do you guys think about this Wonder Woman 1984 banner?

@Saga - maybe it will touch upon the themes of the 1984 novel, be weird if they didn't, there is no way the choice in year is a coincidence

@Saga - WB seem to be going for a soft reboot. They just aren't saying it out loud. Like Arthur from Aquaman could be the same guy from JL or he couldn't be, you will never know.

I think they'll pull the same sort of business for Steve Trevor. They'll treat it like the brother never died.

We know so little about this movie. We don't even know if Cheetah's mo-cap or practical.

@tmp3 - I've seen a few rounds of set pics and in every single one Kristen Wiig is dressed like a librarian.

@L0RDbuckethead - Yeah but that's pre transformation. What if she never even transforms into Cheetah and Pascal's the only villain?

@tmp3 - I would be a bit disappointed.

But it's WB/DC, so I wouldn't put it past them.

Hopefully we get a trailer at SDCC, and some info, cuz I’m unsure what to think of this film. The first was decent, and I trust the creative team but I wanna know mooore

Hope for Wonder Woman 3, we get Circe and Donna Troy, they can use her new 52 origin, but have Circe mold her, maybe end it with Diana finding a way to return to the island and have her take Donna with her, after she turns against Circe

Honestly, I don't know. After BvS and JL, and the constant goalpost shift from WB, making horrible creative choices one after other, I've lost interest in DC Films.

To think that I enjoyed MoS, and supported Snyder's casting decision, only to see the final product, I guess has put me off anything DC-related for a while. I'm happy Shazam and WW and Aquaman did well, but to sit on a goldmine of characters and ruin them spectacularly, takes real commitment. On that front, well done WB.

Also, Gal is cute, but her potrayal is quite one-note. Maybe it's that almond-shape face of hers.

I’m by no means the biggest fan of man of steel or BVS but I still rather watch them over WW, I’ve only seen WW once
