Wonder Woman 1984 was supposed to be released this year, and while director Patty Jenkins has since expressed regret over the fact she asked Warner Bros. to push it into 2020, there's definitely a lot of excitement surrounding the DC Comics adaptation. Now, a new banner has been released which puts Gal Gadot's Amazon Warrior front and center.
As you can see, the font used for the logo definitely references the fact that the sequel is set in 1984, while Wonder Woman herself looks like she's just stepped out of the pages of the comic books.
The character hasn't been seen on the big screen since 2017's
Justice League. There were rumblings that she would appear in both
Aquaman and
Shazam!, but that obviously didn't happen so her return in this movie is long overdue. We're not entirely sure where this banner was spotted, but it's most likely Licensing Expo artwork. Common sense says that a teaser trailer will be released at Comic-Con.
