Latest Black And White LOGAN Image Gives Us A Closeup Of Wolverine's Battle-Ravaged Hands

Hugh Jackman has shared another production still from James Mangold's Logan, which displays the effects years of popping his claws have had on The Wolverine's aging hands. Check it out after the jump...

This latest Logan image continues with the melancholy tone established in the trailer, as we're presented with the hands of a much older, battle-scarred former X-Man.

As fans will be well aware, in his prime Logan's healing factor meant that his wounds would heal the instant he sheathed his claws, but with his mutant ability slowed down to a crawl, we see the results of one too many SNIKTS over the years.

Be sure to keep an eye on the WponX Instagram page as well as Hugh Jackman's Twitter for more of these stylish shots.

Logan stars Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Richard E. Grant, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant, Dafne Keen, Eriq La Salle, Elise Neal, and Elizabeth Rodriguez. The final Wolverine movie is set to claw its way into theaters on March 3, 2017.

@LoganMjolnir - Which probably means it will be a lot of people's trash.

Honestly, with all the advertising they are doing being black and white - why the heck is the movie colourful? Why not have it be a black and white film. They could probably get away with much more gruesome scenes if they did

I've got a feeling this will be in my top three X-Men related movies.

1st Deadpool
2nd X-Men 2
3rd X-Men:Days Of Future Past

@Jaspion - Could be. I think it will probably be like the first hour of the Wolverine with more blood and swearing. I.E. Good, but still not the Wolverine that Jackman deserves to be.

And then who knows how they will Fox it up, but I'm pretty sure they will. It'll be something that no one could have predicted, like having Professor X turn out to dreaming the whole thing or something like that.

@Spock0Clock - worst case scenario: the climax will be Wolverine vs some Reaver robot....

lol

@Jaspion - I can't help but feel the same way. The atmospheric pics are great BUT the odds are not in Logan's favor.

@ComicsBornAndBred - Now that I'm thinking about it, what if Wolverine dies, Professor X dies, and then the screen just goes black and they cut to Deadpool slamming shut a loosely-bound crayon comicbook and says: "The End!" And it turns out the whole movie was just a pitch that Wade was making to Hugh Jackman (ducttaped to a chair).

...I don't know if I would love or hate that... Probably both with a confusing intensity.
