And on the harsh reaction to X-Men Origins: Wolverine?

“I had something to prove, and we could have done better. Fingers crossed we’ve done it this time. I’m pretty confident we have.”

I think because of the mixed reactions from Origins, they realized that they had to turn it up a couple of notches...I have a feeling that this is going to be up there with TDK!

I thought both he and Liev Schreiber gave the best performances in Xmen borigens. The rest of the cast, the director and the story all sucked. All sucked badly. Like Dyson sucked. Hoover level sucking. 10 on the Lewinsky scale.

Tired of Fox and getting tired of Jackman. I'd love to see Marvel Studio's take on Wolvie.

Actually, I'd say Namor was the first antihero. 1939.

Jackman did absolutely fine in that horrible movie. With all of the horrible concepts, the stupid characters involved to convolute those ideas, the pointless additions, generic dialogue..... the one thing you CANNOT say sucked.... was Hugh Jackman's energy.

Consider the scene where he fights and nearly kills Victor, and they go out the window. His face is red, his veins are bulging, his hair is completely disheveled - he looks like an animal.

He was really too good for the movie, but he is Wolverine, and you have to admire his commitment. When Days of Future Past comes out next year, he'll have played Wolverine in SEVEN movies, which is more than any action star... except Roger Moore and Sean Connery as James Bond. Also considering it will have been 14 years, he's aged VERY gracefully.

@Ablee337 I got to see an early screening for it and it's not like Dark Knight awesome, but imo it wasn't bad by any means.
