As we know, director Mathew Vaughn has brought his Kick-Ass composer Henry Jackman on board to score his mutant prequel. Thanks to Film Music Reporter we now have the track titles, which give us a rough idea as to the overall structure of the movie's plot..

1. First Class
2. Pain and Anger
3. Would You Date Me?
4. Not That Sort Of Bank
5. Frankenstein’s Monster
6. What Am I thinking
7. Cerebro
8. Mobilise For Russia
9. Rise Up To Rule
10. Cold War
11. X-Training
12. Rage and Serenity
13. To Beast Or Not To Beast
14. True Colours
15. Let Battle Commence
16. Sub Lift
17. Coup d’État

Not as revealing as some soundtracks have been. Remember Star Wars: The Phantom Menace? The final track was called "Quii Gonn's Funeral". Anyway, the soundtrack goes on sale in the UK and Ireland June 6th, and in the US June 21st.

So, they aren't going to use any of the great music from that time? :-(

The probably will, most movies have an official score, then a soundtrack of songs too.

Guys, chill out, this isn't technically the soundtrack, it's the score.

My biggest complaint about the X-Men films (yes more than the quality of some of them) is that they don't have a central score.

Five composers for five films, and little if any carry-over of themes between them.

After five films and over a decade on the big screen, the most recongizable theme the X-Men have is STILL the intro from the nearly 20 year old cartoon.

Considering the article says soundtrack and tracks with really no mention of scores other than Jackman is on board to do the score, I assumed this is the soundtrack. My bad I took the article for what it said. ;-)
