It's been an extremely few weeks at the North American box office, with many big budget and high profile movies - Pacific Rim for example - failing to find an audience. However, after a fairly strong start for The Wolverine last week, 2 Gun (which had a very modest production cost compared to most summer blockbusters) has found success by taking the #1 spot.
