Concluding an interview where Michael Uslan was questioned about the current status of ‘Shazam’ and ‘The Shadow,’ he was asked if there was a possibility of seeing a Batman/Superman crossover on film. What was Mr. Uslan’s response? “ You never know, do you?”

With Zack Snyder now positioned as the director for the next Superman film, and with the Nolans hard at work on "The Dark Knight Rises," what better time to make both icons collide on screen. If anyone can make it work, it’s Christopher Nolan. How would you guys want a Batman/Superman crossover to play out?

One of the best crossovers of Batman and Superman is the one from the animated series... with Batman beeing total badass and throwing Supes to the other side of the room... that was awesome! The chemestry there was outstanding.

Considering Nolan's comments on the subject I seriously doubt it happens anytime soon. If Avengers makes enough money look for a JLA or Supes/Bats crossover @ 2016 at the earliest.

lmao that vid was hilarious. I really think the crossover will happen. I think it's more likely for batman/superman to come out than a jla movie to come out.

This will never happen. But IF it did, I'd want the film to play out like in the comics when Supes is mind-controlled. I like that concept because it means he won't hold back against Batman. It'll be cool to see them both going all-out. Damn to see Batman regrouping in the bat-cave and hauling out every single weapon, gadget and vehicle just to take down Supes. Heck maybe they can remove the idea of Batman already having kryptonite and just have Metallo be involved somehow and show up at some point and maybe Batman could fight him and remove his kryptonite core and use it against Supes towards the end. That way- we get the Superman/Batman fight we've wanted to see- no holds bar, plus it connects to the comics- for HARDCORE fanboys and lastly it would involve a side-villain or two- Metallo and maybe whoever is mind-controlling Supes. I guess like in the comics they could go with Poison Ivy...that way Poison Ivy + Metallo= each villain from both heroes rogues galleries. Plus it'd be interesting to see the approach to a teamup with those two villains, because you'd have two complete opposites- one villain represents nature while the other is basically a machine so he'd be more of the "industry" lol. Just brainstormed that in less than a minute so it probably sounds unorganized...meh. Just a thought.

@KALel3412- I loved that video. They were always funny videos in that they made Supes seem a tad bit dim-witted and Bats just a bit pitiful in how he constantly had to struggle to keep up, lol. It was funny too how quickly Harvey just became Two-Face out of nowhere, the guy is like "hate to interrupt but while you were arguing Harvey Dent somehow became Two-Face and now he's holding the 2nd National Bank of Gotham hostage" LMAO. I also loved it when Supes is eating the apple and said "I don't know, I punched him" LOL classic.

people....at first it was never thought that Nolan would touch Superman because of realism and shit. Now he and his people are handling Superman. Also about this realism about Batman and Nolan. Explain how real Batman is when he in TDK he falls from a 50 or more story building with no gadgets or ropes, holding on to Rachel and they land on a car without a scratch?????? how real is that? At the end don't be surprised that DC/WB take the World's Finest route and then perhaps by then a JLA flick. A World's Finest flick lead by Nolan would destroy any Avengers box office numbers it will put up.

Batman - Timothy Olyphant
Superman - Henry Cavill

Timothy Olyphant would play a perfect batman! he stands up straight! he has the dark and serious attitude(hitman).He also has that bachelor look.

Batman and Superman:
It would take place right after this upcoming superman movie..since christian bale is playing young batman then Timothy Olyphant can play batman in his prime, when he meets superman. And since Chris Nolan is stopping at the 3rd installment then thats perfect to stop with young batman. Batman comes to metropolis chasing joker. Joker partners up with Lex. Superman wanting to work together but Batman wanting to work alone(like always). Superman and batman first meet they fight. Batman is always one step ahead so he already had looked into superman and his weaknesses and he pulls out kryptonite. and so on and so on with the story.....
