Production has already begun on the fourth season of the popular series Cobra Kai on Netflix, despite Season 3 releasing just two months ago.. Fans of The Karate Kid, both new and old, have shown their dedication to the series, and it doesn't look to be slowing down any time soon.

In support of the Netflix show, we recently chatted with stunt performer and actor Han Soto (Preacher, Never Back Down) about his third season role. Soto portrays Pham Minh Thao, who ties into the past of one of the main characters during the third season.

"When I come in, It's the first time you're actually getting a glimpse into one of the characters' pasts. Cause you know,  we've gone 30 years without ever knowing, essentially, so it's considered the first onion layer that's getting peeled back. Cause I'm sure, there's a lot more."

He spoke a lot more about the series in our exclusive audio chat (see below), touching on how his stuntwork helped get him into certain projects and assisted him with landing particular roles.

"When I first started working in the industry, we used stunts in hopes of being discovered as an actor. So I would come on and do these smaller stunts. I'm nowhere near flipping and getting thrown off of buildings. I can't do those, but being an actor that can do stunts is pretty helpful in a production where you're spitballing ideas at the moment.

I sometimes let them know, 'Hey, I can do this.' They know that they don't have to worry about me and don't have to craft around my inability to deal with stuff. Just do what you want to do, and I'll make it work."

We also chatted with Han about his performance in Preacher and getting to play a vampire, as well as many other things. You can hear it for yourself in the audio conversation below. Be sure to share your thoughts in the usual spot!

Cobra Kai only has one direction to go now, and that is to get JCVD in as Muay Thai instructor for a Kickboxer crossover, and then the following season they will go into the cheesy 80’s martial arts movie multiverse and fight in the Bloodsport tournament.

@bkmeijer - I've heard a lot of good things about Cobra Kai too, both from fans of The Karate Kid and from people who haven't watched the movie series.

@Amuro - haven't seen the movies either, so I can't judge from that whether Cobra Kai is good or not. Might check em out too if Cobra Kai hypes me up enough for it

@TyrantBossMedia - alrighy, thanks for the tip. Now I just gotta find the time to watch those three (I believe they're on Netflix, so atleast they're not hard to find).

And Daniel is the villain? Thats already good information to have.

@TyrantBossMedia - gotcha. Read in an interview no one is really made out to be the bad guy, so I'll see how I'm gonna take that
