The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Paramount Pictures is eyeing Paris as a potential filming location for Ethan Hunt's next impossible mission. Nothing is set in stone just yet, but THR's sources claim the studio is currently in advanced talks with local officials to shoot part of the eagerly awaited Mission: Impossible 6 in Paris, France.

The report adds that production on the sixth film is expected to begin this spring and it's believed that if the deal closes, filming will move to Paris in late spring and/or early summer. Global s
uperstar Tom Cruise has already been confirmed to return as ace IMF agent Ethan Hunt and Rogue Nation helmer Christopher McQuarrie will return to the director's chair, utilizing a script he wrote. No word yet on the rest of the cast - although Rogue Nation breakout Rebecca Ferguson has been heavily rumored to return - but we can probably expect to hear more news on that matter in the not-so-distant future.

So, what do you guys think? Curious to see what kind of insane stunt Cruise can pull off in the City of Love? Sound off with your thoughts below!

Awesome. Though for once I wish they'd film one of these spy movies in a place like Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

Last one was mediocre in my opinion, the villain SUCKED and the finale was boring

1) Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol
2) Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation
3) Mission: Impossible III
4) Mission: Impossible
5) Mission: Impossible II
For the record I hate the second one. It's tedious and the slow motion is irritating. Thankfully they don't mention it in any of the future films so after watching the first film you can skip II and go straight to the third.
