Funny guy, very entertaning. Sad to know he's gone. But what he was doing was wrong. Hopefully this accident can influence people not to drink and drive. I was watching Jackass 3.5 the other day and I was getting a bad feeling when I would see Ryan in the movie.

@Anthrax - There are other forums and ways to share and discuss this information: Facebook, youtube, twitter.etc. This websites area of devotion is to CBM's. We don't post articles about Sarah Palin's latest hijinks, the latest youtube trend, or 10 ways to impress your man. We post CBM news. Go post this elsewhere. Also, Respect is earned and the two biggest things I will remember Dunn for are his death, and sticking a toy car up his ass. Again I'm soooo sad we lost this greatly talented man. And I feel like a broken record here but.."I have no respect for someone who is selfish enough to endanger others for no good reason." ....damn it's hard to have an opinion on this site.

....And all of my comments have been deleted. Wow. Just because I differ in opinion, I don't get to have a voice in this discussion? And CaptainAmerica's comment is gone too. Thats weird... He too thought it was stupid to pay respect to a drunk driver who killed himself and a passenger. None of my comments were offensive and I justified my arguments. If you don't like my opinion that's fine. Say so. Start a discussion. Don't just silence me.

gamecreatorjj... everyone does stupid things...really? i mean, REALLY??? Drunk driving...stupid things??? REALLY...???!!!

YOU might be stupid for saying THAT. drunk driving is beyond stupid. it's a friggin' CRIME. it's good for him that he died, otherwise, he would've had to take the responsibility for killing that passenger who died with him. and if he really did have good conscience, living after having killed somebody (especially who's close to you) would be way much worst fate than death.

People post stuff like this and get emotional because their own views on death have not matured. He died, sure that sucks. We all have the potential to be great people and live relatively long lives. His potential ran out because of his choices. We all do this in one way or another but those jackass guys were "professional" stunt men. They play with fire in that department. Others might just smoke or drink too much coca cola. In the end its all the same. This isnt a tragedy. Its one man living a life and that life ceasing.

@imnotahero, DannyRand401, EarOne, theartofoneness, Im with you guys on this, this has no place on this site. The man had not even the loosest connection to cbm's. So, Im sure he will be missed by people, and I felt a little sad when I read it on another site, but still there are plenty of forums for this RIP stuff, and frankly this isnt one of them.

The man made a lot of people laugh. He didn't deserve to die. Who gives a [frick] if it has nothing to do with cbm news. It's a single post that won't even show up on the main feed. As a comic book fan I also enjoyed watching everything this guy did. Let people pay their respects, no matter where it's posted on the internet. Negative posts are not needed. RIP Dunn, you did a lot of crazy shit, you lived a full life in the short time you had it. Thanks for the entertainment and the laughs.

Didn't deserve to die??? Full life??? The guy killed himself by drinking and driving while killing his own friend and that's the kind of guy you want to pay respect to? Get your priorities straight buddy. He's lucky he didn't kill anyone else.

Dunn will truly be remembered as a jackass.

He accomplished a lot of things in his life, lived it to the fullest. He did make the stupid mistake of drinking while possibly under the influence. And it has cost him his life and another. Life is full of mistakes. He made a bad choice. It does not mean he deserved to die. My priorities don't have anything to do with my wanting to pay respects to someone who entertained me and made me laugh. I'm not the only one who sees it that way. Also, I'm not your buddy, faggot.

why are some people so uptight about posting non-comic related news on this site , i know it is a comic book website but when someone feels the need to post something like ryan dunn's death. if you don't want to read about it don't click on to it.

R.I.P. Ryan Dunn. Jackass will never be funny again without you.

Dunn's passing will probably mark the end of Jackass as we know it. He was a real contributor to the show and his antics really stood out (honestly, who can forget the Butt X-Ray) from the rest of the guys.

Some of you may mark the following statement as insensitive, but I feel it must be said: am I the only person who finds it ironic that Dunn was the first of all of them to go, and not Preston with his immense weight or Steve-O with his history of drug abuse?

And @ anyone who says that this is irrelevent to the site: your right, this is not comic book news. But does it really matter? If someone like George Cloony passed away (God forbid) it would no doubt be reported here even though hes only done one CBM in his entire career (and arguably the worst one in CBM history). The point: the death of someone who has had as much influence as Cloony (or, in Dunn's case, lack of POSITIVE influence) should be acknowledged by any viable media outlet, whether it is relevant to the theme or subject of the content the outlet usually publishes.

Nuff' said!
