The Oscar nominated actor was recently linked to a villainour role in the next Bond movie and has now confirmed the rumours in an interview with The LA Times. Bardem has not yet signed up for the movie, but is clearly quite keen on taking on Bond in 2012 judging by his comments below! Would you like to see that happen? Be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place.

"I’m a huge fan of the James Bond saga. When I was little, I went watching Mr. Connery doing James Bond with my father. Who in the world would think I’d be in one of those movies?"

"They’re changing the whole thing, the whole dynamic. I’d be playing Bond’s nemesis, yes, but it’s not that obvious. Everything is more nuanced. It’s very intriguing."

"But who knows? Maybe I will go back home saying, I have the world in my hands. Evil can be very seductive."

The currently untitled James Bond 23 is set to be released on November 9, 2012! Daniel Craig will return as the British spy.

Bought time, the last villian sucked. Bond has the basics for the best male themed saction movies but they always seem to mess up most of them with bad villians, crappy acting, over the top camp when the best bonfs had real world villians that were imposing physically and mentally (grant frwl?. CONNERY from frwl and dr no is the role model And get back to a more realistic, phenom actor for the villian

Have to give it to Comedian. He put this up yesterday.
Not to throw any rocks, but shouldn't this have been deleted like several hours ago?
