In an interview with The Financial Times, John Logan has offered a brief update on what exactly we should expect from his screenplay to the highly anticipated follow-up to Skyfall. The recent announcement from Sam Mendes that he won't return to helm another Bond movie clearly hasn't slowed down work on James Bond 24 as the report also mentions that Logan was just about to head off for a meeting about the next two instalments in the franchise. "Fleming’s courage in showing Bond’s fear and vulnerability and depression was really interesting and something that a modern audience can accept," he said of building on the complexities of Bond's character after Skyfall. "I think Skyfall demonstrated that they want more layers to that character. And those are the layers that Fleming wrote." Are you looking forward to the next movie? He would be a suitable replacement for Mendes? Be sure to sound off with your thoughts in the usual place!
