Filmonic has the following speculation concerning the recently classified teaser trailer for the upcoming
Sherlock Holmes sequel,
A Game Of Shadows. They're suggesting that it could possibly be attached to the upcoming
Harry Potter finale,
Deathly Hallows Part 2, when it's released on July 15th. Below is some info about the recently classified trailer for the film, as well as the speculation...
According to Alberta Film Ratings a trailer for Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows has recently been approved and runs for 2 minutes 16 seconds.
So far there has been no confirmation as to when it will be released, but as it’s a Warner Bros. movie there’s a good chance it will be attached to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 which comes out on July 15th.
Definitely take the part about the trailer debuting with
Harry Potter with a grain of salt until we have confirmation, but since this is a rather logical conclusion (both films are distributed by Warner Bros., a teaser trailer for a film usually comes about 5-6 months before the film comes out, the trailer was apparently JUST classified and it likely won't be long before it's released, etc.) that it just might happen, I don't think that we should diss this rumor right away. But for now, take it as speculation.
Starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law,
Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows hits theaters December 16th, later this year!
