Marvel Studios hasn't had a significant presence at San Diego Comic-Con since 2019, but that's all set to change this year, because Kevin Feige has confirmed that a full Hall H presentation is planned!

A rumor recently did the rounds which claimed that Marvel Studios would once again be sitting out San Diego Comic-Con, but fans will be very pleased to hear that the report has now been debunked by Kevin Feige himself!

The studio chief made the announcement during the worldwide virtual press conference for Thor: Love and Thunder, teasing some major reveals for the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"Yeah, we'll be at Comic-Con next month, which we're excited about," said Feige when asked if we can expect some big news over the next few months. "The first time since we were on stage there [since] three years ago talking about this movie and many others. And now, I think almost everything we discussed three years ago has now been released. So yes, we're excited to go and talk about the future."

"We always look at five, ten years ahead," he continued. "And [there's always] changes and twists and turns, but that's usually as far out as we go, and then start to build it."

SDCC will most likely be where we find out about the "next saga" Feige has been teasing, but when it comes to the projects that will be showcased during the Hall H panel itself, it sounds like we may only have one trailer to look forward to.

Even so, this is great news for those who may have been on the fence about attending Comic-Con this year. Because of the pandemic, Marvel Studios hasn't had a significant presence at the convention since 2019 when the MCU's Phase 4 slate was unveiled. The studio has still found ways to announce any significant development via virtual events such as 2020's Disney Investor Day and 2021's Disney+ Day, but it hasn't been the same!

San Diego Comic-Con 2022 will run from Thursday, July 21, to Sunday, July 24. Do you plan on attending? Drop us a comment down below.

Well, about a month ago they had that planning retreat where they decided what's coming up in the next decade.

Guess we'll see something from these conclusions, perhaps?

Hard to believe it's been that long since MS was at SDCC. I hope we get X-men news.

Hopefully they announce the end of their slapstick comedy approach to Thor, Guardians, and Hulk.

I would assume we'll get;
a teaser for BP2
F4 director and cast
another She Hulk trailer
Marvels details
At least maybe an announcement of what the X Men movie will be called. Probably Astonishing X Men or something with some classic looking font.

@IronDean2099 - It'd have to be Uncanny, though, right? Uncanny has got to be the superlative most directly associated with the X-Men. Or maybe they'll do something cute like split the franchise into distinct teams and do an X-Men: Gold trilogy alongside an X-Men: Blue trilogy.

I do think there's some chance that Marvel decides to go with a different branding entirely, but I can't figure out what it might be. Deadpool already flirted with X-Force and X-Factor is muddled by the reality show. Fox actually hadn't used X-Men in the title of a movie since I guess Apocalypse, so it doesn't feel too recent.

But if Feige does come out with a title card for Generation X or Children of the Atom, it wouldn't shock me. It seems like a no-brainer that they'd want to fully embrace and rehabilitate the "X-Men" brand, but I would have also thought they'd want to capitalize on the billion dollar branding success of Captain Marvel, and yet they've pulled back on that one, too.
