GLORIOUS GODFREY/JAMES FRANCO
For the role of Glorious Godfrey I decided to cast James Franco. After watching him in the Spider-man Trilogy as Harry Osborne I just had that feeling that he would be perfect as Glorious Godfrey.
G. GORDON GODFREY/KEITH OLBERMANN
With G. Gordon Godfrey the anti-hero radio talk show host I decided to cast Left-wing extremist and the former host of Countdown Keith Olbermann. This may appear to be a joke to all the hardcore fans but if you've ever read the comics that had G. Gordon Godfrey in them you would have to say that Keith Olbermann would nail it as G. Gordon Godfrey.
GRANNY GOODNESS APOKOLIPS/KATHY BATES
I decided to cast two different versions of Granny Goodness. For the Apokolips version I'd chosen Kathy Bates for the role. If you have never seen her in the movie Misery I suggest that you watch it and you can definetly see her in the role of Granny Goodness. And I have always thought it would be cool to hear her say. "Let Granny make it all Better. Let's make everything BETTER."
GRANNY GOODNESS EARTH/HILLARY CLINTON
The Earth version of Granny Goodness I decided to go with the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. She is a strong woman and could make this villianess part very unique. I know people might think of this as something out of Smallville but I would like to see two different people playing the same character and see how they would approach it all at the same tme.
DESAAD/BRAD DOURIF
For the role of DeSaad I decided to cast Brad Dourif for the part. Reason being after seeing him as Wormtongue in Lord Of The Rings I just felt he is perfect for the role of Darkseid's second in command.
DARKSEID/CGI/MICHAEL IRONSIDE (VOICE)
He was in my last fancast as the voice of Darkseid. The rest would have to be CGI.
RECASTING
THE FLASH/BARRY ALLEN/RYAN GOSLING
After getting some good advice about The Flash Barry Allen and my casting of Neil Partrick Harris I decided to recast the role with Ryan Gosling. He's a good actor and I believe that he can pull this character off quite well.
