The X-Men fight to save Storm's life after the parasitic Shadow King infiltrates her mind. Meanwhile, Wolverine teams up with Gambit to 'steal back' a technological collar that inhibits mutant powers, before Senator Kelly can use it against them. On the high seas, Nightcrawler battles devious pirates, in the business of kidnapping mutant refugees for their mysterious master, Mojo. In order to protect his friends, Wolverine must face-off against the Incredible Hulk, but he soon discovers there is a new enemy lurking in the darkness. Finally, in a shocking request from Professor Xavier in the future, Wolverine and the X-Men must return a young mutant to the custody of their most relentless adversary, the MRD?!

Witness all these shocking turn-of-events unfold in "Wolverine and the X-Men: Deadly Enemies" on sale July 21, 2009. The DVD includes special surprises including an episode featuring Wolverine taking on Hulk, an audio commentary from the show creators and the DVD will be encased in an embossed O-Card.

That's not all, this new DVD arrives just after this summer's blockbuster live-action film "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" and just before the live-action DVD release this fall. Also, mark your calendars for the release of Hasbro's Wolverine and the X-Men toy line coming soon to a toy store near you in August!

The hit series debut of "Wolverine And The X-Men" was Nicktoons Network's highest rated original series premiere ever!

Tune in for new episodes of "Wolverine and the X-Men" only on Nicktoons Network!

I watched the first half of this series and it was pretty good.... maybe when the season 1 box set comes out I'll pick that up just like Spectacular Spidey season 1, now SS was amazing and the 2nd season was better then the first.

Another opportunity for Marvel and Nickelodeon to rape fans again by charging full price for 3 tiny episodes.

Lets do the math!

Season 1 = 26 Episodes

26 Episodes / 3 Episodes a Volume = Roughly 8 Volumes

$15 * 8 = $120

OR pay $40 for the entire season

I think I'll wait and continue to let Marvel and Nickelodeon waste their money on single volumes until they finally realize that not everybody likes to be screwed over.

One thing I need to get off my chest here is this dvd is pure bullshit. I love wolverine and the x-men, but not when I'm being nickle and dimed to buy a three episode disc. Why can't they just release the whole f**king season and be done with it? I've been waiting since the 90's for the first x-men animated series only just released this year in four volumes. Why must I be old and gray before something comes properly? I would tell anyone reading this NOT to buy this and demand the entire season in one shot. I know I'm not alone on this one, and just tired of getting f**ked with substandard releases. These f**king companies know damn well that fans will buy them if they put them out. This few episode per disc thing only insures leaving a bad taste in peoples mouths. Last I knew rape is illegal, and thats how I feel about these companies that continue to screw us

I'm right there with you Assassin... I just tend to ignore the individual disk's until the complete set comes out... I do it with all my Anime and t.v series like this there is no point in buying the individual disk when you get "raped" out of your money.

I do that too Anil until the set comes out then I delete em and buy the set, I'm about ready to delete my S.Spider-man's due to the set coming out soon.

I still don't get how you guys can say all these animated reimaginings are great, but you hate the Ultimate line. I really don't get it. Ultimate X-Men is my second favorite book behind Dark Avengers, and The Ultimates Volumes 1 & 2 were AMAZING. Ok, Lee, I know you hate the black version of Nick Fury, but other than that how is a new version of X-Men in print different than this tv show that you guys are praising so much?
Osiris
Osiris - 7/16/2009, 11:58 AM
@Carl@ I like the Ultimate line, Ultimate Spidey used to be the shit.... the game was amazing as well. ultimate X-men is pretty bad ass too but I'm still in the begining of the series though so I have yet to get to the amazing stuff.
