This April,
Dragon Ball will be celebrating its 30th Anniversary. Will that be the time when news of
Dragon Ball Super's continuation is revealed?
Back in January,
Dragon Ball Super was inadvertently revealed to be back in production when a press release Toei Animation sent out for NAPTE (National Association of Television Program Executives) stated that they were looking for licensing partners. Toei eventually went on to claim that the press release was inaccurate but the damage was already done.
Now, popular online anime and
Dragon Ball social media personalities are all stating that their separate sources believe that
Dragon Ball Super will be returning in July and that the official announcement will be unveiled in April as part of the franchise's 30th Anniversary celebration.
