SO FAR--WITHOUT SEEING THE FX IM NOT SOLD, PICCOLO ISNT GREEN,WHERES THE TURBAN AND HAMMER PANTS? GOKU SHOULD HAVE SOME KINDA MUSCLE..OK CHI CHI LOOKS GOOD(HEY SAMURAI GIRL)..IF THEY GET THE FX AND CG RIGHT IT MIGHT WORK BUT WITH JUST PICTURES AN SMALL SNIPPETS ITS REALLY HARD TO SAY WHAT THIS MOVIE WILL DO.

I am sorry, but this movie is going to be chopped full of all kinds of FAIL. Ok for one, I like Chow Yun Fat... But for crying out loud, he looks NOTHING like Roshi. Roshi is supposed to look like someone out of ZZ Top with a turtle shell on his back. For two, Piccolo is supposed to be green but apparently, is supposed to "evolve" to green. Wow... I don't think I remember Piccolo EVER being white. Plus wtf is up with his outfit? For three, what's up with Yamcha being in his late 40s?? In the anime, we all know that he and Bulma date for awhile. Ahem... I thought Roshi was supposed to be the only old perv. And as they reveal more and more fail, I'm sure this won't be the last, but for those of you who saw the Oozaru Goku pic... Well, you know what I mean. Sony says that it was just a "test" picture. But if Oozaru Goku looks anything remotely like that, that's just the last straw. Goku transformed is NOT supposed to be some weird looking lizard/alien. So, question is... what's next? 6 ft Krillin with long hair? I'm getting flashbacks of the 80s Mario movie... It's actually on that level of fail.

Lastly, Piccolo looks like The Wishmaster.

This looks like its gonna be this decades version of Street Fighter. I get the feeling they are trying for a transformers type story but its just not working

I've been a die-hard fan of the Dragonball franchise since 1995, so when I first heard about it I was looking forward to seeing it on the big screen, but now I think I can wait for this to come to basic cable. They've just taken this and totally jacked it up. I have yet to see something that is in-line with the manga or the anime. My 12 year old son doesn't even want to see it. I think it's just going to be a HUGE disappointment, but I may be proved wrong. Only time will tell.

Of course Fearless we will still see it, just to see how bad this will blow. Thats normal comic, anime nature--no matter how bad it may look!---

There are some things you just don't make into a movie...If they want to destroy the DBZ Franchise, that's on them.

I have to agree with the forum on this one.. even thought I wanted to see something that resembled the anime I don't think getting Chow Yun Fat involved is going to make this movie a hit.

My issues with what I've seen..

Goku looks weak..
Piccolo doesn't even look like Piccolo..

Why would they start the franchise here?? makes no sense the most successfule installment was the Dragonball Z version.

I think they should have just did a take on "The Arrival" Saga and regrouped for the Freiza Saga.. would have been a couple of great movies..

The idea of telling the his origin and Piccolo being the villian kind of sucks to me.. not interested in it.. Just Chatworth was a bad choice as well.. why didn't they just get a Asian actor who I don't know acutually might know Martial Arts? What's the big deal? It is a Japanese property..

The movie could have been great but I think it will tank..
