I know Dragon ball Evolution news is old but just what things they should do in the next film, and even somethings they did in the first movie that could be very useful in the next film
I'll give points on things they should do
1) the Gaps in between Dragon Ball evolution and Dragon Ball Reborn
Alot of people have posted fan fic articles that basically say My dragon ball evolution movie sequel that will make the movies closer to the mythos. They almost all use the Tenkaichi Budokai match to do that, and that is a good idea. In case you haven't read the dragon ball manga or watched dragon ball, After Goku defeats piccolo piccolo hatches an egg which is a reincarnated version of himself. Years later at the Tenkaichi Budokai, piccolo's reincarnation Piccolo Jr. enters as the demon Jr. Goku is the only Z fighter that figures out that he's piccolo by them self. In Dragon ball volume 16
Goku and piccolo battle each other in the finals. This could be a good gap filler because you could introduce Krillin and Tien without having to explain everything in the beginning of the movie. I've read some DBR (Dragon Ball Reborn) fan fics and most all of them that i've read says this
After Goku pulls him up he see's a piece of chicken wrapped in noodles, stuck in Yamcha hair. Goku takes it out and eats a piece of it. Everyone looking at him yells "EWWWWW."
Some bald short guy says "same old Goku." When Goku see's him they run to each other and hug. This bald guy was short, but he wasn't a midget. Everyone doesn’t know who this guy is and Goku introduces him. He says that his name is Krillan and that he was his best friend since he was seven years old. Krillan had to go away when they turned sixteen. Krillin had to leave because his mom had got a well paying job somewhere far away. There, Krillin was trained by a great elder that died a few months ago
If you do that then it'll seem like everyone just immediately likes him. Originally Goku and Krillin hated each other but had to work together cause they had the same master. If you do the Tenkaichi Budokai then they could develop a friendship and fans would think that this would be Dragon Ball Redemption.
2) The things that could could help in the future films.
For this i will give points for the good things.
1) Chi Chi fights
since Chi Chi fights and fights well in Dragon Ball Reborn she won't be afraid to throw a punch at Goku when they're fighting.
2)Piccolo can control Oozaru
now some of you probably all of you would say that was one of the worst parts of the film, and I use to agree with you but i thought just before i started writing this " They were smart doing that because they could of gone in really detailed with Dragon Ball Reborn by doing this, Piccolo leaves Gohan on a mountain by himself (well that's what Gohan thinks) Gohan see's the full moon turns into Oozaru and piccolo instead of cutting off his tail and gohan being naked, Piccolo could use his powers to suppress Gohan power so Gohan would turn back to normal. Piccolo could teach gohan that technique and that would come in handy when Vegeta turns into Oozaru.
3) Casting
In the next film if they recast anybody i would do James Marsters as piccolo and Joon park as yamcha. Why not Justin Chatwin? you ask well because i think Justin could redeem himself he could probably be a great Goku they just didn't write a good script. Joon park i think wasn't wright for yamcha at all he didn't look like him or act like him, yeah he's a bandit like in the manga but he passed out when he first saw Bulma cause she was so hot originally, in the movie he just called her pretty. James Marsters was an excellent piccolo but let's compare King Piccolo and Piccolo Jr.
They look Like a father son Relationship. I think they should get Michael Jai White or Vin Diesel to play Piccolo Jr. Michael Jai white and Vin Diesel are only 5 years younger then Jame Marsters but it's not like Piccolo Jr. instantly turns into an adult. He ages from a boy around Goku's age to an adult in the manga, and they could make him start off as a little boy walking in the woods a car comes towards him he sticks his hand out and he shoots a beam of energy out of his hand and he kills the people in the car and he turns the car into ashes.Or they could always make Piccolo CGI and have a voice actor, if they did that they might as well just get Toshio Furukawa who plays Piccolo in Dragon Ball z Kai and the original Dragon Ball Z.
4) handling the sagas
I think for Dragon ball Reborn it should be The Saiyan Saga and the Namek saga until Goku turns super Saiyan when he turns Super Saiyan the movie ends, then the next movie finishes the Namek saga and goes until Cell is in a complete form and the last movie is the Cell games and the Majin Buu saga.
5) The Name
I think that Dragonball Reborn would be better for a GT movie because goku turns from this

They should call the Tenkaichi Budokai movie Dragon Ball Redemption and the Rest Dragon Ball Legacies , Dragon Ball Kai, and Dragon Ball Final battle
I don't think they should do any Dragon Ball movies past the Buu saga
