Kazuaki Kiriya (currently listed screenwriter for the Untitled Dragonball Reboot) has officially denied any part in writing the script for the unofficial reboot to Dragonball Evolution. He has said the listing is fake and demanded that IMDB take it down as it is affecting his other current projects.

Other interesting notes on this reboot is that Paramount pictures was said to pick up the rights to the franchise and Takashi Yamazaki will be the director. Jon Foo is also listed to play Son Goku. But it is obvious most, if not, all of this information is fake due to Kazuaki Kiriya denying any involvement with this rumored movie.

IMDB has also claimed this reboot was recently announced and that it will be in production very soon. But as everyone should know, IMDB is not a reliable source and should not be treated as such. But that still leaves question for a sequel to DB Evolution as a trilogy was initially planned and nothing has been confirmed canceled as of yet. Justin Chatwin and James Marsters are both still signed onto contract to act in a sequel if production ever begins. James Marsters even recently stated that all 20th Century FOX has to do is call him up and he will be ready to shoot the film.
