Finally we get more information on the Live Action Attack on Titan Movie. The first info we have gotton is a Cast Member. Harumira Mira who is a singer-turned-actor is most likely ( It has not been 100% confirmed he is going to play Eren but at this point it is pretty likely)  going to play Attack on Titan Main Character Eren Yager.

They have also confirmed the film location..Hasima Island which is off the coast of Japan

You may reconigze this play from the James Bond Movie Skyfall as it was used as the main villain's base. I must say it's a intresting choice of location and i am intrested to see what they do with it.

As for the film itself, I am really looking foward to the movie but i am also a bit worried and how it might turn out. However filmakers there is one thing you must do..KEEP THE ATTACK ON TITAN THEME!!

The anime was average for me. Hoping for a live-action Hollywood version.

I personally am worried myself because it is hard to put Anime into live action period.

Show is awesome. I listen to the soundtrack all the time. I don't even like anime that much but this show had me hooked.

I know the show is anime but the only character who is actually Asian is Mikasa. In fact, its referenced explicitly in an episode that she one of the last Orientals. Eren Yeager is a German ass name, and most of the characters are obviously not Asian. So this casting is actually strange.

I honestly hope this movie is good...but I'm not getting my hopes up. This show is great, but weird as [frick]. I can't see the 3D maneuver gear NOT looking stupid in live action, since its already goofy looking in the show. And this will be stupid if it has an all Asian cast, since none of the characters are actually Asian (other than Mikasa).

This show and Fullmetal Alchemist:Brother would be a lot better if made by American studios for live action films.

@JoeMomma29 Not only was Dragon Ball:Evolution one of the worst things to happen to a Dragon Ball fan... but one of the worst films in cinematic history!

@Melkaticox

That is true, they could wait for it to be finished, but to be honest when people say that "Japan should do anime films only" i really just shake my head. The CGI that Japan uses is literally Power Rangers/Super Sentai Level, it's just not good. It worked well for Death Note barely, but the CGI was just so obvious at times.

But I really think Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood literally could just write itself as a live action adaptation. The diversity of the cast, the sets and costume, it could be a great franchise and each season could be a film. 5 films is perfect especially since the FMA cast actually ages as well! It literally could rival Harry Potter there is so much potential with that series and I love it so much!

Never got a chance to check this out. So many anime shows and not enough time. You guys should check out BTOOM, it reminds me of Battle Royal.

I really enjoyed the tv series. I can't wait for season two. Finding out what's inside the wall was a great cliffhanger. I hope this gets a wide release. I don't care if it's not in English the anime wasn't. I just want to see what they can do for live action.
