Synopsis:

EVANGELION: 2.0 YOU CAN (NOT) ADVANCE. In an explosive new story full of brutal action and primal emotion, a group of young pilots maneuver their towering, cyborg Eva Units into combat against a deadly and disturbing enemy. In the battle to prevent the apocalyptic Third Impact, Shinji and Rei were forced to carry humanity's hopes on their shoulders. Now, as the onslaught of the bizarre, monstrous Angels escalates, they find their burden shared by two new Eva pilots: the fiery Asuka and the mysterious Mari. In this thrilling new experience for fans of giant robot action, the young pilots fight desperately to save mankind - and struggle to save themselves.

i haven't checked any of this anime out yet,i've got the original anime "neon genesis evangelion" its one of the greats up there with "akira" & "ghost in the shell",now this would be an awesome live action movie.

I can't even count the number of times I have watched Evangelion. If I remember right it takes 13-14 hours to watch it strait through. Have not done that in a few years and that may be a tomorrow thing. Nice find Lee can't wait to see it.

And you can get this already if you want, but it would be so effin nuts to see in the theater. Is it coming to the US?!?!?

I had goosebumps watching this trailer. I was blown away the first time I saw Neon Genesis Evangelion about 12 years ago. I can't wait to see this!!

[frick] i hated Evangelion! I think it was by far the most time i've ever wasted. Lack luster action, over dramatisation, completely unrelatable characters and situations, little to no background development what so ever (until you do finaly get some, which just makes the entire series an even bigger waste of time), GAWD i hated it.

This however, looks to be a lot better than the series.

This looks way more amped up than the series. At times the series seemed rushed but there was always a good foundation there. Capitalism killed it.
