mmmn, dat's the good sh*t Netflix.
Eva on Netflix is huuuuge. not legal streaming until now, out of print DVDs and no western blu-ray release either, so this is going to be a lot of people's first exposure to it. and movies included too, which is good because you need the End movie to get the complete experience.

Ultraman looks really good. and I've been enjoying the revival of its sister series Gridman, so this will do nicely to accompany that.

Saint Seiya was huge around here in its time. it had almost DBZ level hype but still never matched up completely to it. so I'm curious what Netflix's version is like. it's CG from what I've seen, but Netflix is one of the very, very few who can pull that look well.

Definitely excited for Saint Seiya, Evangelion, and Ultraman. Netflix has been good to the Saint Seiya franchise, having had both The Hades Chapter and The Lost Canvas in their selection. With Evangelion coming, I finally get to see what all the fuss is about with this series. And for Ultraman, I finally get to see anything from that long-storied series beyond the scant few minutes of the U.S. dub of Ultraman Tiga I caught years ago.

Speaking of Netflix, I'm 8 episodes into the new season of Narcos. It's not as good as previous seasons, but that's because the 2 lead actors and their characters aren't as interesting. But that scene with Don Neto and Rafa coked out of their minds and dancing to Karma Chameleon was the best thing I've seen in 2018.

All this old anime getting brought back is awesome but where the remakes of old American shows like Thundarr The Barbarian, The Centurions, Galtar And His Golden Lance, heck I’d even be down for a remake of The Littles. 🤷‍♂️

@AnthonyVonGeek - I’d honestly like to see more original content—this creative drought has been overstaying it’s wecome.

Oh, and apparently according to a discovery by Homer Simpson, peak TV isn’t actually real.

Much better than the travesty from the thundercats or She-Ra. Really looking forward to Ultraman, Saint Seiya and Evangelion.

Hope Saint Saiya doesn't end up being bad as the legend of sanctuary film was. I hope they had finished the Lost Canvas first which was rather good. Omega was awful!

@fundamentallyOT - You talking about the 2011 Thundercats, or the forthcoming ‘Roar’?
