Is This Our First Look At The 'Yellowjacket' Suit In ANT-MAN?

It was confirmed during Comic-Con that Corey Stoll (House of Cards) will suit up as a villainous version of Yellowjacket in Ant-Man, but now a leaked image has found its way online which appears to offer up a first look at the character. Scott Lang had best watch his back...

It's hard to nail down where exactly this image has come from, but it appears to have originated from the Twitter account above. From what we can see here, it certainly looks legit, but it's impossible to say for certain these days thanks to the lengths fans (or people with too much time on their hands) go to while creating manips to fool people! Talking about Ant-Man during this year's San Diego Comic-Con, Corey Stoll was quoted as saying, "In this story, Darren Cross, who was in the comic books but was not Yellowjacket in the comic books, he has a suit that is sort of the next generation of Ant-Man’s suit. It can do everything that Ant-Man can do, but more. It’s more badass, more militaristic, sleeker… sort of like if Apple had designed a battle suit." The one above certainly fits that description. What do you guys think? Thanks to Desrow for the heads up!

looks cool, the metal arm like pieces attacked to his shoulders/back remind me of the weird curve thing in the real yellow jacket costume. and the other robot arm things remind me of the iron spider.

I like it overall it looks good I don't think anyone was realistically expecting the comic book costume being used here. This is a good movie translation so I really like it.

@kinghulk

I believe those shoulder attached robotic pieces are probably there to allow him to fly. Probably having thrusters in there to allow him to fly where he wants.

the things on his back maybe they act like wings/ thrusters it could be where wasp gets her wings.

This is shaping up to be an interesting film. If this is what the suit looks like, I'm all for it. Personally, I like the fact they kept the yellow and black colour scheme of Yellowjacket while making it look realistic.

They've done justice to Iron Man, the Hulk (with Ruffalo's performance and the proper VFX in Avengers), Captain America and Thor. Can't wait to see Ant-Man get his due…...

The legs on the back of it literally make no sense whatsoever. He looks like he'd have a hard time trying to walk through a door without those things getting stuck.

That is a suit! Not the shit that DC uses on its shitty tv shows! Arrow and flash uses stripper leather sutis.

Comparing big budget film costumes to TV show costumes.

Thats some logic right there.

I hope that really is from the film because it looks awesome as hell. Despite any of the setbacks or deviations from source material we've heard about, I'm still highly interested in this film. It appears as if it's going to continue what GOTG started by making a comic book film that's different than any other we've ever seen. The effects and fight sequences we can see between Ant-Man and Yellow Jacket have limitless potential.
