Earlier this year, reactions from what was supposedly an Aquaman test screening popped up online and they were good but not great. Now, a number of Reddit and Twitter users have taken to social media to claim that they're among the first to see the DC Comics movie and despite signing NDAs, many of them are still sharing their thoughts on the movie.
One Redditor claims that the tone "closely parallels Ant-Man and The Wasp and Thor: Ragnarok" and believes that "it will probably suffer from some criticism that it deviates heavily from the original tone of the DCEU to more closely resemble The MCU."
So, just how much attention should we give these reactions?
Honestly, it's hard to say, especially as this could just be a group of Twitter users getting together to spread a positive reaction about Aquaman in the hope that they will somehow help it succeed (that may sound far-fetched but look at what happened with A Star Is Born and Venom).
With any luck, these reactions are legit because it would bode well for the DC Comics adaptation. What do you guys think? As always, share your thoughts in the comments section below.
