AQUAMAN Promo Art Provides Another Look At Arthur Curry's Classic Orange & Green Costume

Of all the costumes in Aquaman, the colorful and comic-accurate suit is easily the one fans are most excited to see on the big screen, and now some new promo art gives us another look at that very armor.

Warner Bros. will release the first official trailer for James Wan’s Aquaman very soon, but we’ve already been fortunate enough to see a few of the costumes worn by the characters in the DC film, including a comic-accurate suit Jason Mamoa’s Arthur Curry will be donning.

Other pieces of merchandise have already given fans a good idea of what that outfit will look like, but now some new promo art on the package of a Lego set provides another look at his colorful new duds.

There are no details on when Mamoa will wear the orange and green armor in the movie, or how long he’ll have it, but fans who want to see the live-action version of the hero use a comic-accurate suit will likely enjoy seeing it even if it is for a brief scene.

In addition, we have new merchandise art for Ocean Master and Mera.

@MarvelDCAllDay - Oh i know, and I like that, but i feel that his out fit needs some dark patterns or under tones to help contrast in some areas. Not like Snyders Transformers armor, yeck, but maybe some patterns on the shoulders or rib cage.

@TheSoulEater - personally, I don’t think it does. People can complain about the long hair and beard - which he has had in the comics multiple times - as much as they want, that is 100% Aquaman to me, even with dark hair.

@Philip - OH i'm aware, and i don't dislike his dark hair at all, nor actor choice, or any of it, and i'm psyched they're using the classic outfit, I just think that it might not bounce off his natural look well as it could've.

Art thing.

Either way I love it.

Jason Momoa is really pulling off that classic armour! I really hope this movie is good and does well. Momoa and Wan seem pretty passionate about the project, and that is how it should be when it comes to all CBMs, otherwise it just doesn't work (looking at you, Ben Affleck).

It is not as noticeable here as it is on some of the other stories posted on the classic outfit, but this is my take on it. I have said that it looks both classic comics and cool at the same time. What makes it work for me is the metallic sheen that they gave it. That and making the pants look armored as well as the orange chain mail.

So glad they're doing away with those white-eye contacts. Those looked so weird in JL. I get the reasoning for it, I guess, but...no. Wan's Aquaman looks perfect. (I'd prefer a blonde w/short hair, but eh)
