An Evacuation Sequence To Be Featured In The Avengers!

While it's no shocker for a highly anticipated blockbuster such as Marvel's The Avengers, a recent tweet suggest an evacuation scene will soon be filmed. Check it out!

Marvel & Joss Whedon's superhero crossover spectacle The Avengers is knowingly in the square of filming in Albuquerque, New Mexico. And filming for a little over a month now, production is expected to move further on location in the coming days; making it more likely to receive set images of actual stars.

Anyhow, while the production crew has reportedly shut down parts of the Albuquerque International Sunport Airport's largest runways for construction of a "huge" set, a tweet via Mike Taylor may reveal what the scene will depict of.

So, what could be the cause of this "evacuation?" Could it be a mischievous act from Loki, the Incredible Hulk, or a certain invasion? Who knows - but with "June 2" about a week away, hopefully we'll find out soon.

Marvel's The Avengers picks up when an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security. And Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Clark Gregg, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Tom Hiddleston & Stellan Skarsgård, the film releases May 4, 2012!

1. Cool art of the team
2. This hint at alien invasion, but I hope it's Loki summoning all evil creatures of Asgard O_O that'd be sweet

Just watched Thor again and the beginning parts in Norway with the frost giants made me think. Wouldn't it be smarter for Loki to bring the frost giants back to earth to take over, since he's one of them and he killed lauffey. That's why they're filming in new mexico, the bridge is back up and frost giants are pouring out like cockroaches.

I could be way off base here. I really hope it's the Skrulls.

Loki can't use the bridge because he's 'dead' to Asgard.He'd have to find some other way to Earth.One of his backdoors...
Could they be using the runway as the landing surface of the Helicarrier?

@BeastlyAIDS
Yeah I've seen Thor.I know where Loki is at the end.My point is,he can't have access to the Rainbow bridge because a)He is where he is...and b)Everyone in Asgard thinks he's lost and if he turned up in Asgard again to use the bridge...
:)

@Amazo- I hear ya. Is that the only bridge? I'm not all that familiar with the comics.

I was thinking, why show the war between the frost giants and asgardians on earth other than to show they could get here. They obviously didn't use the bridge that time, unless they had access to itback during the war and lost it after they lost. Like I said, I'm not familiar with Thor folklore in comics.

@Rodimus9
From the beginning of Thor it looks like the Casket of Ancient Winters has the ability to transport folks.And during the movie it becomes a key point that Loki knows sneaky ways in and out of Asgard.It's perfectly plausible that he could bring Frost Giants to Earth,just not with the Rainbow bridge at this time :)
