In addition to Jeremy Renner's return as Hawkeye, today's filming for The Avengers: Age of Ultron markedly brought the first look at newcomers Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson as the supertwins Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. Set photos also revealed the presence (or practical head and shoulders) of the sequel's titular villain, Ultron. As for what the action sequences involved, CineFilos, whose sources we won't disclose, reports that the sentient robot is in fact the cause of all the chaos in the fictional Eastern European city of Sokovia. Apparently, Pietro Maximoff first takes on Ultron and his minions before he is joined by Wanda and Clint Barton, who are trying to rescue a bunch of refugees by getting them to a dropship. This is of course the cargo-like structure pictured on the set, and it is also why the Avengers actors were seen looking up while cameras were rolling. Anyhow, Wanda uses her powers to keep up with Ultron as the refugees head for the dropship. We probably could have gathered all of this just by looking the set photos, but more of them have surfaced online with a closer look at James Spader's Ultron stand-in. What do you think?
