AVENGERS: ENDGAME Stars Perfectly Recap The MCU In A Marvel-Themed Cover Of "We Didn't Start The Fire"

In just a few days, Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters, forever changing the landscape of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A movie more than ten years in the making, Endgame is the culmination of 20-plus films. Needless to say, that's quite a bit to remember heading into the upcoming blockbusters, especially if you've missed a movie here or there. And if you haven't at all watched a Marvel film to date, well, you better start binging soon.

Or you can just check out the video below — courtesy of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon — which features the cast of Avengers: Endgame singing a cover of Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start the Fire," only they've changed the words to provide a general overview of everything that has gone down in the MCU to date. It's not the most detailed recap, but it's certainly one of the more entertaining ways to go about explaining the MCU to a newcomer or even refreshing one's memory ahead of Avengers: Endgame.

Avengers: Endgame is slated to arrive in theaters on Friday, April 26 (or this Thursday if you count preview screenings). Reviews for the highly anticipated blockbuster hit the web today and, of course, it has received glowing praise.

Avengers: Endgame is currently rated fresh with a 98 percent on Rotten Tomatoes with Comic Book Movie's own Mark Cassidy saying the "superhero epic will exceed all of your expectations" (and giving it a perfect five stars). Check out what other critics from around the web are saying about Avengers: Endgame here.

Holy shit what a beautiful beautiful film!

Thank you to everyone involved from the start of the MCU up to now and beyond.

I’m not embarrassed to say I cried at various scenes but it is an absolutely stunning movie.

Surprisingly not massive levels of cringieness, was actually pretty cool. I find it annoying that Jimmy's always plonked into these.

I love that moment in which their faces transition into the comic characters at about 0:21.

Also, the Black Panther segment at 1:18 just flows too damn well.

22 films creating and expanding a cinematic universe over the course of 11 years.

Might have an opening weekend of 1 billion worldwide.

Might make 2.5 to 3 billion worldwide.

97% on RT.

Event of the decade.

Did anyone ever experienced anything like this in film history?

@Webheaded225 - NO is the simple answer. The Oscars will be forced to give Avengers Endgame ALL awards including best picture / directors because this has never happened in the history of Hollywood

People worldwide are assembling to see this movie. Some who've probably never touched a comic book. This is just so incredible how people are responding. And imagine once we've all seen it.

(And I didn't think I'd like this video much cause it would likely be too cheesy. Never mind. It sure did it for me.)

That was really good. Wish they had done full 4 minutes version. Also shame they could not get Scarlett there because that woman is probably the best singer in Hollywood.
