According to
Trailer-Track E-i-C Anton Volkov, the current
Avengers: Endgame runtime that Disney is informing theater owners about ahead of tickets going on sale in North America is the same as the
"current holder of the 'longest modern superhero movie' title."
While you may think that's
The Dark Knight Rises, Volkov advises that it wasn't actually released theatrically and indicates that he's referring to
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice: The Ultimate Cut , which obviously ran for a whopping 3 hours, 3 minutes. That's long, but it makes perfect sense for the
Avengers: Infinity War sequel to boast an epic three hour runtime.
It's also said that along with the information that has been sent to US theater owners, the same runtime is being shared by the movie's Slovakian distrubutor,
and with the score now complete, this 3 hours, 3 minutes has more than likely been locked in by Disney.
With only a few minutes of footage revealed from
Avengers: Endgame thus far, it's mind-blowing to think about how much Marvel Studios
hasn't shown of the movie at this point and it's clear that some big surprises are in store (which hopefully won't be spoiled in the weeks leading up to its release).

No Secret Invasion?
I think it's fair to say that we went into Captain Marvel expecting the stage to be set for a big screen adaptation of Secret Invasion. However, Talos and the rest of the Skrulls are portrayed in a sympathetic light and the movie does not wrap up with them infiltrating our planet. Does this mean Marvel Studios plans to portray them as the good guys moving forward?
Not necessarily.
Talos makes it clear that there are a lot of Skrulls scattered throughout the universe, and it's entirely feasible that at least one of them would like to make our planet home. If nothing else, at least this movie introduces us to the concept of the shapeshifters!
