AVENGERS 4 Title Seemingly Revealed By GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 Actress Zoe Saldana
We had heard that the title of the follow-up to Avengers: Infinity War was top secret because it served as a spoiler for the previous film, but Zoe Saldana may have just let the cat out of the bag.
Just this morning, Kevin Feige suggested that the official title for Avengers 4 was being kept under wraps because it could serve as a potential spoiler for Infinity War - however, Zoe Saldana has seemingly revealed said title during an interview, and it really doesn't sound like much of a spoiler at all.
If you watch the video shared by film journo Lizo Mzimba below, you'll clearly hear Saldana state that she's currently in the middle of shooting Infinity War, and that they "all have to go back for Gauntlet later this year."
"Gauntlet" is, of course, a reference to the Marvel Comics arc upon which the next Avengers film is based, and this definitely seems to suggest that The Russo Bros.' follow-up will be titled simply, Avengers: Infinity Gauntlet.
If that is the case, though, why would Feige be reluctant to divulge this information? Perhaps he would simply prefer to preserve a sense of mystery until Marvel is good and ready to make an announcement - or, it could mean that the film won't actually be called Infinity Gauntlet at all, and that's just how the cast are referring to it for the time being.
