AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR: It Doesn't Sound Like Rocket Raccoon Will Be Impressed By Earth's Mightiest Heroes

The Guardians of the Galaxy will play a key role in Avengers: Infinity War but based on what we've seen so far, the team will spend a fair bit of the movie doing their own thing. While Star-Lord, Drax, and Mantis are going to team-up with Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange, Rocket and Groot will be heading off on an adventure with Thor in a bit to find a new weapon for the God of Thunder to wield.

However, recent set visits confirmed that Rocket ultimately winds up in Wakanda and that means he'll be meeting his fair share of Avengers. So, what does he make of the mightiest heroes Earth has to offer? Well, actor Sean Gunn reveals that he's not exactly blown away by what he sees from the team!

"Oh gosh. I think you’re going to have to be the judge of that," he replied when asked which Avenger has the most interesting reaction to Rocket. "Although – it was certainly fun to see many of these new characters through the eyes of Rocket
, because Rocket does not have the same sort of reverence for the superheroes that the average earthling is going to have. So, I think there is a lot of fun there."

Avengers: Infinity War is going to feature a lot of fun and unexpected team-ups and seeing the likes of Black Widow and The Hulk come face to face with a talking racoon wielding a massive blaster promises to be a highlight. Who are you most excited to see Rocket work alongside in the upcoming movie?

I will always wonder what Guardians could have been like if Glen Howerton was Star-Lord and Charlie Day was Rocket...

I like Pratt a lot and Cooper is fine, but something about that other thing...

@Spock0Clock - Why not cast everyone from Always Sunny in Philadelphia as the Guardians?

Sweet Dee as Gamora

Frank as Drax

Mac as Groot

Dennis as Star Lord

Charlie as Rocket

Makes sense, Rocket is just going to do his thing not fawn over anyone.

A big draw for Batman v Superman was seeing their first time on screen together. This movie is the same but it is EVERYONE being on screen for the first time together with EVERYONE!

@LaserKing - could have used the first Avengers as a better example I guess.

@Jaspion - That would have worked too. Batman and Superman jumped to mind I think because it was just the two and was very exciting.

By far the best guardian. He is the main source of enjoyment in those movies. Stoked to see him interact with the rest of the mcu.

There's a shot in the new trailer of Rocket seemingly looking at Thor in awe while he does his "Seductive God of Thunder" thing though, but yea I can see him not being impressed by much (even though I bet he'll want to steal things from Wakanda and Shuri's lab).

I want T'Challa, Banner and Bucky to be the only ones that don't freak out when he starts talking. Banner because he's been on Sakaar, Bucky because his fed up with life to be honest, and T'Challa because he took a weird herbal mixture and was buried alive, which led to jungle with Northern lights above and a tree with panthers on them, and one of them turned into his father.

Avengers Infinity War isn't the end or conclusion of the original Avengers its the beginning of all new adventures across new Galaxies.

None of the original Avengers will die. Hundreds of stories to be told and killing them would just destroy all those opportunities.

Marvel wants to grow their Universe not make it smaller

Samuel L Jackson is still a young man time for a Nick Fury movie :)
