Avengers: Infinity Gauntlet? Avengers: Endgame? Avengers: Captain Marvel Returns? Who knows what the highly anticipated fourth instalment of the franchise will be called but speculation is running rampant and there's a very good chance we'll probably wind up being disappointed. It is, after all, just a title but if it's not exactly what fans are hoping for, there's going to be at least a little bit of backlash.
Now, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has revealed that the sequel's name was settled on quite some time ago...they're just not ready to tell us what it is yet. "We do have a name for it, we’re just not announcing it," he confirmed. "And I think we came to that name fairly early in the development process. It speaks to the heart of the story." Taking that into account, Endgame seems highly likely.
"It’s gotten entirely out of hand, and now will have no chance to living up to any expectations of what it’s gonna be," Feige added in regards to the hype surrounding the title, reiterating past comments that he regrets not revealing it before now. When will we find out what Avengers 4 is called? That remains to be seen but this year's Comic-Con is a safe bet despite them skipping this one.
