UK To Get Marvel's Phase Three Slate Early; AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Release Dates Revealed

Release dates have been announced for Marvel's Phase Three plans, and while the UK will once again get pretty much each and every one of these movies earlier than the US, we now know when Avengers: Infinity War Part I and II are set to reach the rest of the world...

What's the difference? Only Thor: Ragnarok and Captain Marvel come out on the same day as the US, with the rest all reaching the UK a week early. This could all change nearer the time of course, but it matches up with how these Marvel Studios movies have always been released in the past!

The most interesting thing about this though is the fact that Avengers: Infinity
War Part I and II are both dated for late April, an indication that those vague 2018 and 2019 release dates will in fact see both movies debut early May in the US. That's obviously the same date as both The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron! How do you guys feel about this news? Sound off below...

Instead of releasing the movie everywhere worldwide, release it in select places outside of the US so that there is ample time for bootleggers to pirate copies of the movie and jerks to spoil the movie to people who waited years for it to come out. Brilliant.

@DrDoom You should threaten Marvel to go to war with the world if they don't release it in Latveria first.

What's the reasoning behind staggered national releases? Doesn't that risk a pirate copy hitting a country before its released?

@rabid

piracy is big factor in it.take guardians of the galaxy,there was a one day gap between uk & us release date i believe that was to counter piracy,guardians could of flopped at the box office,so marvel didn't want to take that risk.

also i always find the best torrents come with chinese subtitles,china got guardians a month or so before the uk blu-ray release.

another good move by marvel/disney.
