Avengers: Endgame brought Spider-Man back from the dead after a five year absence and it will now be down to
Spider-Man: Far From Home to deal with the ramifications of that. The wall-crawler played a key role in the final battle, though, as he attempted to get the Nano Gauntlet away from Thanos and emotionally reunited with his mentor, Iron Man.
Now, Iron Studios has unveiled a 1/10th scale statue for the movie depicting Tom Holland's Iron Spider going to war with one of Thanos' Outriders.
It's a pretty amazing piece and will sit nicely alongside the other statues in this range (providing you have a big enough budget). The
Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer revealed that Spidey will start off in this costume and we've been left to speculate about how and why he ends up ditching it.
Time will tell on that front but, for now, hit the "View List" button below to check out these images!
The Iron Spider may look quite a bit different to the comic books but the majority of fans are on board with this live-action take, especially as the wall-crawler has those four additional arms.
The Outriders definitely appear to have undergone some minor cosmetic changes since the last time we saw them and it's hard not to wonder if that might be because they're essentially younger here.
As we mentioned above, Peter will be wearing the Iron Spider suit at the start of Far From Home so why does May pack his original suit and what becomes of this technologically advanced outfit?
Can it simply not function without Tony Stark or does it get destroyed in a battle? If it's the latter, it can't be the Elementals who are responsible as we know they don't show up in New York City.
Perhaps Mysterio finds a way to destroy it because if he really is a con-man responsible for creating those monstrous bad guys, the Iron Spider suit might actually be capable of figuring that out.
Regardless, Spider-Man will be decked out in two new costumes; a stealth suit presumably provided by Nick Fury and an upgrade of his previous costume which it's thought he makes himself.
It's a big responsibility having Far From Home deal with the fallout from
Avengers: Endgame, though, and it will be interesting seeing how Peter comes to terms with being gone for five years.
As of right now, we don't know if Marvel Studios is planning to gloss over that or whether it will be addressed in detail, touching on how some of Peter's former classmates are now basically adults.
Either way, Spidey is clearly going to attempt to fill the void left by Iron Man and that's a huge burden for him to carry. With any luck, Uncle Ben's death will also finally be referenced in some way.
After all, it's kind of crazy that we're now on the second Spider-Man franchise to not even properly mention the "With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility" line given how important it is.
Then again, seeing as this Spider-Man wasn't a reality TV show star or a wrestler, perhaps he didn't play a role in Ben's death and doesn't carry that guilt. There may also be another reason for that.
In a way, Tony Stark is Peter Parker's Uncle Ben and his death is clearly what's going to push the web-slinger to fully embrace his role as a superhero and a member of The Avengers (if they're still around).
Recently, there have been rumblings that Spider-Man's third movie set in the MCU will introduce Deadpool...or Venom. Everything should be considered a rumour for the time being, though.

After all, the second movie hasn't come out yet and I'm sure Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have a lot to talk about when it comes to where this character should go moving forward.
We know that Kevin Feige is unlikely to want to work with Avi Arad and that could pose some big problems if Sony insists that he must be involved (remember that he's closely tied to
Venom).
We'll have to wait and see but if Marvel Studios is planning to reveal its slate at Comic-Con, we can safely assume that the next Spider-Man movie is going to arrive in theaters in 2021.
The level of detail on this statue is amazing and it really is a must-have for fans of the MCU's Spider-Man. It's also very cool to see him striking an action pose while fighting this Outrider.
