Marvel Studios has released yet another Poster Posse poster for
Avengers: Endgame, and while this one doesn't reveal anything new about the epic superhero ensemble, it more than makes up for that with some stylish and stunning imagery.
As you can see, Thanos is standing tall in the background with each of the Infinity Stones in his possession, with the original six Avengers - Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), and The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) - in front.
There's going to be ten of these posters in total, and it's nice to see something different. After all, while Marvel Studios is better at Photoshop than most, it's always a treat when we get to see one-sheets that are a break away from the norm and as unique as this one.

Time Has Passed
There's been speculation about a time jump between
Avengers: Infinity War and
Endgame for a while now (mostly thanks to Black Widow's evolving hair colour), and the first shot in the trailer confirms that at least several months have passed.
Look closely at the driveway leading up to The Avengers Compound and you'll notice that it's become overgrown, and while that certainly doen't confirm that it's been years, it wouldn't be surprising if anywhere from six months to one full year has passed. Remember, the MCU does mostly move in real-time, so that would make sense based on past experience as well.
Oh, and look closely on the right and that might just be a new Quinjet!
Regrouping
The ranks of Earth's Mightiest Heroes have been left depleted following the events of
Infinity War, and it's clear from these opening few seconds that the loss has hit them hard.
Bruce Banner is quick to point out that if they're going to go to war with Thanos, they'll be doing so "short-handed" and Rhodey doesn't waste any time in mentioning the reason for that. With a three-hour runtime, don't be surprised if the majority of the movie's first act deals with the fallout from the Mad Titan's fateful "Snap."
Captain America Loses The Beard
Captain America's beard in
Infinity War got everyone talking, but between him having it in
Captain Marvel's post-credits scene and not in many of the trailers, there's been a lot of confusion surrounding that apparent inconsistency.
Well, in this trailer, we finally get to see the moment Steve Rogers shaves off the facial hair and clearly decides to embrace his identity as Captain America again. Believe it or not, this could be a big character moment for him!
Tony And Nebula Return To Earth
While it was always pretty obvious that Iron Man and Nebula would find their way home, this trailer actually shows what happens after their arrival back on Earth, and we get to see some major reunions in the process. For starters, Nebula is clearly breaking the news to Rocket that the rest of the Guardians have died and he looks positively heartbroken.
As for Tony, he finally gets to embrace Pepper Potts, and with rumours still swirling that she will suit up as Rescue, we now know that the door is open to that becoming a reality due to the Stark Industries CEO being alive and well at this point in the movie.
Some Visual Changes
Iron Man's new armour looks downright amazing in action, but that's not the only change that has been made to some of
Endgame's key characters. Clint Barton is rocking a very cool sleeve tattoo (which has to be further evidence of a time jump) and it seems as if some special effects have been improved upon because Thor summoning Stormbreaker definitely looks slightly different.
Assemble
This very cool group shot shows Captain America, Iron Man, War Machine, Hawkeye, Nebula, Rocket, Ant-Man, and Black Widow all in their civilian clothes looking ready to take action.
Whether the rest of the team is (there's no sign of Captain Marvel and Thor, for example) is hard to say, but just seeing this lot share the screen is pretty damn amazing - especially as we never could have imagined the Guardians interacting with The Avengers even just a few short years ago.
On an unrelated note, how awesome is Rocket's comic accurate uniform?
Friends Reunited
Captain America and Iron Man obviously reunite at an earlier point in Endgame than this, but it seems as if this could be the moment their fractured friendship is finally repaired.
I got full body chills at this point in the trailer, but looking at the background and the way Tony Stark is dressed, I'm wondering if these two may have found themselves back in the Battle of New York in 2012. If you recall some of the set photos from the movie, then there's definitely a chance that could be what's happening here.
Either way, that handshake could very well be a game changer in the fight against Thanos.
Avengers...In Spaaaaace!
Footage from Endgame was recently shown off by Disney to shareholders, and it seems as if this may have been one of those scenes. Earth's Mightiest Heroes are on board the Benatar but those white suits are nowhere to be seen, something which might be a strong indication that they aren't space suits at all, and the team suffers some sort of defeat the first time they go after Thanos before returning home.
It's then that they'll be forced to take drastic measures by travelling into the Quantum Realm and through time, something that's sure to lead to Thanos heading to Earth in order to try to put an end to them once and for all. We'll get to that later, though.
Avenge The Fallen
Iron Man watched Spider-Man die in his arms in Infinity War, and that's clearly hit him hard. While Tony has often acted with indifference towards Peter Parker, he cares about the youngster and seems to be carrying the weight of the wall-crawler's demise squarely on his shoulders.
The movie's tagline is "Avenge The Fallen," so expect stories like this to play a key role in the proceedings throughout.
Some Interesting Shots
In a series of random shots, we see Thanos' spaceship, War Machine and Nebula looking on at something unknown, a distraught looking Thor, a sad Rocket (possible on the Mad Titan's ship), and a beaten down Captain America.
These snippets have all been taken out of context, but leave us with plenty to think about and that's sure to be the reason why Marvel Studios chose to include them here.
Thanos Returns
We finally get a proper look at Thanos in this trailer and it seems as if he's used the power of the Space Stone to teleport to Earth...right? Well, it's not quite the same effect we saw in
Infinity War and that may be because the Gauntlet's powers have been depleted.
Either way, it's an impressive looking shot, and the way the villain talks about how the team's failure has brought them back to him is definitely interesting. This is a piece of dialogue we can easily imagine being exchanged between the Mad Titan and Tony Stark, given their last interaction.
Battle At The Avengers Compound
The sheer amount of destruction at the end of the trailer definitely points to this being our first look at the final battle, and evidence continues to mount that it will take place at The Avengers Compound.
With the building clearly left in rubble, you have to believe that Earth's Mightiest Heroes will have a new base by the time the credits roll, and it might be a safe bet that it'll be somewhere on the West Coast!
The Trinity
Well, this is just plain awesome.
Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor all walk towards Thanos as he sits among the rubble, either defeated or contemplating his victory. Whatever the case may be, he's decked out in his armour (minus the helmet) and has that massive sword by his side - something which confirms that's not just a toy and will indeed factor into this adventure.
It seems appropriate that these three will face down the villain as they are Marvel's Trinity, but the big question on our minds right now is which of them, if any, makes it out alive?
