Avengers: Infinity War is a little over a month away from being released and it now appears as if we know exactly how long we'll all be sitting in the theater enjoying Marvel Studios' latest release. According to Fandango, it will run for a whopping 156 minutes making it the longest Marvel Cinematic Universe release to date. That honour was previously held by 2016's Captain America: Civil War.
That ran for 147 minutes and was also directed by Joe and Anthony Russo. However, the stakes are even higher in Avengers: Infinity War, so that additional 9 minutes should come in very handy here.
This runtime obviously includes the credits and we can probably expect at least two additional scenes setting up both Captain Marvel and Avengers 4. Throw in the fact that the movie has to deal with Thanos collecting the Infinity Stones and then attacking Earth and it's fair to say that156 minutes will fly by.
